Everyone knows how to do something. Whether it's playing a guitar, gardening, carpentry, knitting, painting with watercolors, caring for an iguana...we've all acquired certain skills in our lives, and it's only right that we should want to share the results of our hobby and also share what we've learned about how to do it well. On this site, I'm going to talk and show about a passion I have for Cut Glass. Cut Glass is a type of antique made around the turn of the century. This is considered the "Brilliant Period." The glassware was produced in sets and patterns that are now collected by many. I started collecting at about age 12 or 13, and I've been hooked ever since. This site is mainly going to have pictures, because I think that is the best way to learn about this stuff. |
